The Skyrunner Guest House was a perfect place to celebrate my birthday. This house is absolutely charming and very cozy! Thanks so much for the wine – it was a wonderful surprise.
We loved the "never met a stranger" appeal of La Grange and its friendly people. Thanks also for the tasty Mexican dessert from Guadalajara! That was a great recommendation for my birthday dinner.
Luke & Lizzie, your Skyrunner Guest House was just the "getaway" we needed and a very special hideaway in which to celebrate my birthday! Thanks for the memories!

Well now, it was very appearate (sic) to me that you have given a great deal of thought into designing a most lovely guest quarters for your guests – we've really appreciated your efforts (& I'm sure Lizzie's too).
The Skyrunner really made it feel like home away from home or "mi casa es su casa". This A.M. ≈ 5:30, I enjoyed looking at a virtual full moon through my telescope from your deck. ≈ 9:30 A.M. I enjoyed the cacophony of Carolina wrens & House wrens battling over your backyard; habitat so ideal for them both. I enjoyed it also for basically the same reason – not having to battle the rat race habitat of humanity as it exists in Houston – if only for a litt' while.

OH! We both failed to mention that we saw at least four deer, including a 4-point buck! We could have stayed out all night watching the critters!

Great party house!!! Watching the Superbowl on the windscreen was great. Really great kitchen and bar. Relaxing living room, fun for all of us. The game room was fun especially with all the games you have there. The bedrooms are really comfortable. Thanks for the great snacks you left for us and for letting us take our dog. He had the best time of all. . We had fun on the deck and used the BBQ. Lots of fun and we plan to be back soon. Thanks you for your warm welcome and for taking such good care of us.

Our stay at your guesthouse was fantastic, especially with all of the work that you've invested in the decorations, colors, and antiques. It was hard to go to sleep with all our oooohs and ahhhhhs over the accommodations. Great B&B experience-- something Diane and I hope we can repeat during our next visit to LaGrange. And we certainly will tell everyone your place is a Five-Star B&B!!!!!!
Your dance suggestions were the best! We stayed awhile at Marburger Farm for the ultimate indoor/outdoor Texas country music experience--something we've never seen before! What a rustic venue--we will tell all our CW dance friends!
And then the Valentine's Dance at the La Grange KC was incredibly way beyond our expectations!!!!!!!!!!
We dance at various clubs in Houston, but the quality of the dance floor at the La Grange KC is the best I've ever experienced!
The dance floor is huge, they take such amazing care of the floor surface so it is perfect for dancing, and it was not too crowded for some extra fast polka steps. The DJ provided a great variety of two-step, waltz, polka, East Coast Swing, etc., and we even squeezed in western cha-cha to some songs. And the last dance wasn't even over until way past midnight!
Pam Keilers is such a great hostess. She made us feel so welcome and part of the group. The decorations at the KC were great. Next year, we want to get an early start from Houston so that we can enjoy the dinner as well and stay the entire evening.
So it was the perfect Valentine's Day celebration for both of us. Thank you so much!
